We Take Risk Management Seriously

Tempus Retreats make use of adventurous outdoor pursuits (such as rock-sports). Tempus leaders manage all activity-specific risks that arise from the venue, the people and the equipment involved in the retreat. Those risk management plans can be viewed on this page.

It's our task to manage these risks... it's your task to accept inherent risks. Inherent risks may include working at height, being in water, traveling at speed or environmental exposure.

These inherent risks are more complex to manage as they do present a constant hazard to personal safety. When we ask you to sign a risk waiver to participate in the retreat we are asking you to make an informed risk decision about your participation
